New York City Fashion Week ended last week. Its off over the pond to London. The grand finale of NY Fashion Week, I suppose is that next year it would no longer be held at Bryant Park, but uptown at Lincoln Center. For as long as I can remember, and for as long as I have been sneaking in or helping to dress models for shows, Bryant Park was the home to some of the greatest designers’ during the hectic week dedicated to showcasing the latest in fashion. Although Bryant Park is lovely, its always been small– especially since there are hundreds who show. But the location seemed perfect, since it was really around the corner from showrooms, offices, and design studios of almost ALL the designers showing in New York.  Truly, an end of an era.
